CZ's Scout models are built to be ideal first guns for young shooters, with a short LOP and a simple sight set-up, so learning the basics of shooting and sight picture has never been easier. CZ's 455 platform is modular which means, not only is the 455 Scout compatible with other 455 detachable magazines (available separately), once kids outgrow the short 12" LOP, swapping different barrels/chamberings or stocks is done quickly and easily with only a few tools. The leaf rear sight is adjustable for windage and the blade front for elevation, with integrated 11mm dovetails on the receiver so adding your scope is a breeze. It has a two position safety, with adjustable trigger mechanism, and features a Beechwood American style stock. It has a 16.5" cold hammer-forged barrel with 1:16" twist and 1/2x28 muzzle threads, allowing suppressor addition for hearing-safe shooting without the need for muffs or plugs. To teach ammo conservation, this 22LR ships with a single shot adapter.
